CoinBase Commerce allows merchants to accept payments in bitcoin using the Coinbase wallet. This means you don’t need to buy bitcoin first, as you would with the other two major competitors. However, since Coinbase doesn’t have a credit card processing option, you’ll need to use the Coinbase wallet to buy bitcoin.

Coinbase Commerce also provides a merchant portal where merchants can learn about how to accept payments in bitcoin. The portal includes information about how to set up your business, including what kinds of products you can sell, what kinds of services you can offer, and how to get started.

In addition, Coinbase Commerce provides a variety of other tools for merchants, such as marketing materials and a referral program. Merchants can also take advantage of the fact that all of their sales are tracked in real time, so they can see how much revenue they’re making every day.
